Westlake Team once again successful at the Bosch Vino Miglia 2017 in Germany
Started in Neustadt near Speyer in the very southwest of Germany, in four days, the track takes you via Austria to Merano in Italy where a 24-hour break has been organised. After that short relaxing time for cars and drivers, the rally starts again through Austria, Switzerland, the Black Forest in Germany, crosses the river Rhine into France and reaches the finish line again in Neustadt/Germany. Only 42 cars out of 51 overall reached the chequered flag in Neustadt.
Driver Sylke Lambert and navigator Jan Hennen, both tyre test drivers for ZC Rubber in Germany, reached a fantastic 5th place amongst a whole load of very powerful Porsches, Mercedes, Jaguars and other brands with their 1968 Volvo P 210 Duett. “The Westlake SW 608 tyres in 185/65 R 15 once again worked very well and helped us feel safe every time”, says Sylke Lambert, satisfied at the finish line.
“There is a lot of interest in Westlake tyres for classic vehicles, so we will push the information to those end consumers who mostly have over 5 vehicles in their garages”, says Jan Hennen. “These events are an effective and pleasant way of coming into contact with potential clients for the Westlake brand.
